I am a concerned parent of a gifted child and I am constantly worried about how to balance their giftedness with their overall well-being and happiness. My child is only 8 years old but has already shown exceptional skills in math and science. While I am proud of their achievements, I don't want them to feel pressured or overwhelmed at such a young age.

On one hand, I want to provide my child with all the opportunities to foster and develop their talents. On the other hand, I want my child to have a normal childhood and enjoy all the other aspects of life such as playing with friends, exploring different hobbies, and simply being a child.
