Q:

Has anyone tried using a white noise machine for their baby's sleep? Did it work?

Hi everyone,

I'm a new mom to a 3-month-old baby and I have been struggling to get her to sleep through the night. I have tried multiple sleep aids such as swaddling, pacifiers, and even white noise apps on my phone. However, the phone apps tend to drain my battery and interrupt my sleep as I have to keep my phone close to my baby.

I recently heard about white noise machines specifically designed for babies and I was wondering if anyone has had any success using them. Did they work for your baby's sleep? Are they worth investing in? Any recommendations on which ones to buy?

I appreciate any tips or advice! Thank you in advance.

Hi all,

My husband and I have a 2-month-old, and we have been using a white noise machine since day one. We have the myBaby SoundSpa Lullaby Sound Machine, which has six soothing sounds, including heartbeat and gentle lullabies. We place it on a shelf near the baby's crib, and it's been a game-changer for us.

The white noise has helped create a calming environment and has helped our baby fall asleep much easier and stay asleep for longer periods. We realize the importance of our little one getting enough sleep, and the sound machine has definitely helped us achieve that.

We highly recommend trying out a white noise machine for anyone with a newborn or with a baby who has trouble sleeping. It can make a world of difference!

Hi everyone,

As a mom of two, I can say that using a white noise machine for my babies has been a lifesaver. When we first brought our twins home, getting them to sleep was a huge challenge. We tried everything from swaddling to rocking, but nothing seemed to work. That's when we decided to give a white noise machine a try.

We started with a basic model and found that it helped to soothe our babies to sleep. However, we found that it wasn't quite loud enough to drown out external noises from the street. So we upgraded to the Hatch Rest Sound Machine which has been amazing. It not only has multiple sound options, but it can also be controlled with an app on our phone.

Using a white noise machine has been a game-changer for us. It has helped our babies to fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. It's definitely worth investing in if your baby is having trouble sleeping.

Hey there,

I have a 9-month-old son and we have been using a white noise machine for his sleep routine since he was born. We started with a basic model which was okay, but we found that it wasn't loud enough to mask some of the external noises.

Eventually, we invested in a high-end white noise machine: the LectroFan Evo. It has a wide range of white noise and fan sounds and produces high-quality sound. It also has an auto-off timer, so we can set it for the duration of our son's nap or overnight sleep without worrying about turning it off.

Using the white noise machine has definitely helped with our son's sleep. He sleeps longer and more soundly than when we used to rely on just swaddling and/or rocking him to sleep.

Hope that helps!

Hi everyone,

As a mom of three, I can attest to the benefits of using a white noise machine for baby's sleep routine. We have been using the Graco Sense2Snooze Bassinet with Cry Detection Technology and it has been a lifesaver for us. The bassinet has built-in white noise and vibration options that automatically turn on when the baby starts to fuss or cry.

We initially started with a basic white noise machine that we placed on a nearby shelf. However, we found that our baby would still wake up when the sound stopped playing, even with the option to set on repeat. Once we got the Graco bassinet, it solved this issue completely and our baby has been sleeping soundly throughout the night.

I highly recommend trying out a white noise machine with cry detection technology like the Graco Sense2Snooze Bassinet for those parents who want to ensure their baby has a peaceful and uninterrupted sleep.

Hello fellow parents,

I have a 7-month-old baby who struggled with sleeping through the night until we introduced a white noise machine into her sleep routine. After conducting some research, we purchased the Baby Shusher Sleep Soother Sound Machine, and it has been a game-changer for our family.

This sound machine has a unique feature where it mimics the sounds inside a mother's womb, providing a calming and comforting environment for our baby. The rhythmic shushing sounds help put our baby to sleep quickly, and it also includes a timer and volume control.

Overall, I highly recommend the Baby Shusher Sleep Soother Sound Machine for parents who are struggling with their baby's sleep routine. It has made our lives so much easier, and we all get a good night's sleep.

Hi there,

I have a 4-month-old baby, and we tried using a white noise machine for her sleep routine but unfortunately, it didn't work for us. We tried the Marpac Hushh White Noise Machine, and while it was easy to use and had multiple sound options, our baby just didn't seem to respond well to it.

What ended up working better for us was playing lullabies on a Bluetooth speaker. We found that the gentle melodies and soothing vocals helped to relax our baby and lull her to sleep. We have been using the Philips Avent Bluetooth Speaker and it has worked really well for us.

I think it's important to remember that every baby is different, so what may work for one may not work for another. It's definitely worth experimenting with different sleep aids until you find something that works best for your baby.

Hi there,

I have a 6-month-old daughter and we started using a white noise machine when she was around 3 months old. I have to say, it has made a big difference in her sleep routine. We use it every night and she has been able to sleep through the night without any disturbances.

We opted for the Marpac Hushh White Noise Machine as it has multiple sound options and a timer function. It's also small and portable, making it easy to travel with. The white noise machine definitely creates a calming environment for our baby and helps drown out any external noises that might wake her up.

I highly recommend giving it a try! Good luck!

Hello,

I have a 5-month-old daughter, and we have been using a white noise machine for her sleep routine since she was 2 months old. Initially, it took some time for my baby to get used to the sound of the machine, but now she sleeps through the night without any issues.

We use the Dohm Classic White Noise Machine, which has two-speed options for white noise. It is very easy to use and has really helped to calm down our baby. The white noise machine has worked wonders for us, and it has made a significant difference in our baby's sleep routine.

I would definitely recommend giving a white noise machine a try if your baby is having trouble sleeping.
