Q:

Can anyone recommend some books that focus on nature and the environment for babies?

Hi everyone,

I am a new parent and have recently become very passionate about nature and the environment. I want to instill this passion in my baby from a very young age and I think books would be a great way to start.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend some books for babies that focus on nature and the environment? I would love to find something that has beautiful illustrations and teaches about different animals, plants, and ecosystems.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance.

Hi there,

I highly recommend the book "All Aboard the Discovery Express!" by Emily Hawkins and Tom Adams. It's not specifically focused on nature, but it has a lot of information about different environments and animals. The book is interactive and includes flaps to lift, maps to follow, and puzzles to solve. It's great for older babies who are starting to show interest in exploring and discovering new things.

I hope that suggestion helps, and that you and your baby have fun exploring the world together through books!

Hello!

One book that my baby and I have enjoyed reading is "Hello, World! Ocean Life" by Jill McDonald. It's a board book that has beautiful illustrations of different sea creatures and their habitats, along with simple language that's easy for babies to understand. The book introduces babies to different concepts such as the ocean and its various animal life forms.

Another book that I recommend is "Nature's Day: Out and About" by Kay Maguire and Danielle Kroll. Each page shows a different part of a typical day, such as morning, afternoon, and evening, and includes information about different animals and plants that are active during those times of day. The book is illustrated beautifully and is a great way to teach young children about the different plants and animals that we share our planet with.

I hope those recommendations help, and happy reading with your little one!

Hey there,

As a new parent, I completely understand your desire to introduce your baby to nature and the environment at a young age. One book that my baby and I have enjoyed is "Hello World: Animals" by Jill McDonald. It has colorful and engaging illustrations of different animals, along with easy-to-understand language for young children. Another one that I recommend is "Over in the Ocean: In a Coral Reef" by Marianne Berkes. It's a rhyming story that introduces babies to different sea creatures and their habitats.

I hope those suggestions help! Happy reading with your little one.

Greetings,

As a new parent myself, I wanted to share a book that my baby has enjoyed that focuses on nature and the environment. The book is titled "Touch and Feel: Wild Animals" published by DK. It has textured pages that allow the baby to feel different surfaces that represent the animals' fur or skin. The book includes various wild animals like lions, tigers, pandas, and more. The illustrations are very detailed and realistic, which helps in identifying and learning about different species.

I hope you found this recommendation useful. Wishing you and your baby many happy reading hours!
